Hi everyone! In last week’s video bulletin, Bernice shared more fundamental strategies for creating great video content in international education marketing – check out Part 1 of this series if you haven’t already! So, let’s summarise her three essential tips to help elevate your video marketing game.
When it comes to video marketing, less is more. Keep your videos concise, ideally between 3-4 minutes, and focus on a single topic per video. This approach allows you to create clear, targeted content that doesn’t overwhelm your audience. Some ideas include:
- Courses offered at your school
- Extracurricular activities available
- Highlights of the area surrounding your school
Don’t limit yourself to English-only content. If you’re targeting specific markets, consider creating videos in their native languages. For example, if you’re an English language school looking to attract more Spanish students, producing videos in Spanish can be highly effective in reaching and engaging your target audience.
One of the most powerful tools at your disposal is your student body. Encourage confident students to create videos in their own time and space. This approach offers several benefits:
-Authenticity: Student-created content feels more genuine and relatable.
-Diverse perspectives: Students can share personal experiences about the school, teachers, and their free time.
-Reduced workload: It takes the burden off you and your marketing team.
It goes without saying that you should always review and approve all student-generated content before posting.
Try implementing these video marketing strategies over the course of the year, and if you ever need a helping hand, don’t hesitate to contact Schools & Agents. That’s all for now, but stay tuned for more international education insights on our socials and website!
