Women in International Business Awards 2019

The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the industry's most inspirational women. Organisations and men who have shown exceptional commitment to gender equality in the workplace are also awarded.

By raising the profile of women in international education, the WiE awards aim to inspire confidence, show that success need not be limited by gender and facilitate more women into positions of leadership. The evening is billed as 'fun, fabulous, forward-thinking and fierce'.

This year's keynote speaker is Sam De Reya. Sam is the Commander for Devon leading 1330 members of staff to deliver front line policing services, investigation and partnerships. Sam is actively involved in supporting equal opportunities and inclusion. She is proactively invested in leadership development, mentoring and coaching.

2019 sees the launch of a new Women in Education event -  the WIE Leadership Summit. This is an afternoon of networking and idea-sharing with professional development sessions, a forum and an interactive panel discussion. Ella Tyler, also a co-founder of Lead5050 says 'We are so excited about this new event. We want to offer an opportunity for everyone in the industry to meet like-minded peers, develop their network, invest in their professional development and join the movement.'

Both events will be held in Berlin on November 2nd at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Tickets and sponsorship packages are available now on the Lead5050 website.
