German language provider Humboldt-Institut opens a new German summer course location for teenage students in July 2019

Ratzenried, January 31, 2019 -  Located in the sunniest region of Germany, at the foothills of the Black Forest, Freiburg is considered one of Germany's most beautiful cities and boasts a picturesque historic city center with narrow streets and small water streams.

Based at the KL youth guesthouse, only a five minute walk from the historic city center, Humboldt's intensive German program in Freiburg will be available from July 21 for teenage students from 14 to 18 years of age. Stays are bookable for two weeks, including residence accommodation in twin rooms, full board and a daily activity program. The German courses are offered from a beginner level A1 up to an intermediate level of B1.

The program features thirty lessons of 45minutes per week, a daily activity program and two excursions per week. Planned are trips to the Black Forest, lake Titisee, Basel in Switzerland and more. The city of Freiburg and the surrounding region are a very popular tourist destination in southern Germany due to the mild climate with many hours of sunshine and the beautiful landscape.

A transfer service is available from Freiburg's main train station (free of charge) and nearby Zurich airport which has direct connections to many cities worldwide.

“We are very happy to return to Freiburg after a four-year break and are looking forward to welcoming many students to this wonderful city," says Humboldt's managing director Mr. Lennart Güthling. The new summer center brings the number of Humboldt's course locations to a total of 18, from which four welcome students year-round.
