Hispania New Headquarters

We are happy to share some wonderful news with you.

Finally, we moved to our new villa at Botánico Cavanilles nº 6, which from now on will be the new headquarters and the heart of Hispania, escuela de español

We are so so happy. In the new villa “Cavanilles Building” you can feel in every corner the Mediterranean atmosphere and we are very privileged, because we are in a building which is part of the history of Valencia. It’s a unique building, protected by the City, as is the villa “Bernat i Baldoví Building” and the other journalists’ villas.

The journalists’ villas got this name, because they are the survivors of a romantic dream of some journalists who came from Madrid to Valencia around 100 years ago. They created these beautiful houses and their objective was a walkway (which is nowadays Avenida Blasco Ibáñez) with houses just like our school, the university and gardens which would reach the Sea, until the Playa de la Malvarrosa.

From now on Hispania, escuela de español is composed by:

1. CAVANILLES BUILDING: The new villa and our new headquarters. Our main reception where we attend our students and answer all their questions from 8.45h until 20.15h is also here. Apart from the classrooms, of course (in total 13), we also have two amazing terraces and a private cafeteria, only for our beloved students of Hispania, escuela de español J

2. BERNAT I BALDOVÍ BUILDING: In this villa, which already has been part of the history of Hispania, escuela de español since 2009, there are 12 classrooms, two great terraces and our Hispania cinema, where we show daily movies for free (in Spanish with Spanish subtitles). Shortly, we will also inaugurate our new library.

3. MENÉNDEZ Y PELAYO BUILDING: Here the focus is totally on studying ;) There are 9 classrooms and a multifunctional room where we hold conferences.

4. CENTRAL OFFICES: A workspace with areas to relax for our team of more than 60 professionals: teachers, academic coordinators, the administration team and student care.

We feel very privileged to be in such a beautiful, unique and green space, just opposite the Viveros park and only a few minutes walking from the Turia park and the historic city centre, and we would love to share it with you.

To celebrate the inauguration of our new space with its protagonists, we invited all our students for a coffee and a sweet treat in Hispania’s new cafeteria.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in our new villa very soon!
