Published EDU-WorldWide on Friday, November 30, 2018

Language students of all ages and levels now have the opportunity to enjoy English speaking lessons whilst travelling on their bespoke sight-seeing tours with their own qualified English teacher !

Whilst staying with an experienced host family in the vibrant coastal town of Bournemouth, student(s) will be collected each day by their English teacher and taken to various beautiful and historical places.  (Students can choose their own itinerary prior to arrival).

Here is a sample of an itinerary:

Day One: Student(s) Collected from their arrival airport. A half day trip to Windsor Castle (entrance to the castle included). Taken to host family.

Day Two: Tour of Bournemouth exploring the centre, gardens and beaches with free afternoon.

Day Three: A full day out at a UNESCO World Heritage site,
Stonehenge (entrance fee included).

Day Four: A trip to Burley & Lyndhurst in the New Forest with a cream tea.

Day Five: Full day at the Jurassic coast (Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door) followed by a fish & chip supper.

Day Six: Afternoon trip to Christchurch and Hengistbury Head.

Day Seven: A trip to Sandbanks and Poole (Poole Quay is one of the largest natural harbour in the world with a museum set in a Victorian quayside location).

Day Eight: Departure to airport

There are options for London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath, Winchester, Oxford and Cambridge

On the way various conversation topics and motivating speaking activities are elicited from the student(s), with discussions on various subjects from general English, to IELTS speaking preparation and Business English if required.  These programmes appeal to older students who ultimately wish to practise their speaking and listening skills only.

Example of conversation topics:

A – advertising, apps, animals, ability, art.
B – beaches, books, bravery, business, boats
C – creativity, charities, cooking, change, clothes.

This is a door to door programme including transfers to and from the airport. Accommodation, meals and admissions are all included. Students can choose either to have a 1:1 programme or we can cater for small groups of up to six students (each staying with different host families).

It really is the best of both worlds … Let the English Journey begin!
