In 2017 the EFL industry in South Africa has continued its recovery from the visa crises. The recent 3rd quarter stats already match the 2016 student numbers, with the best quarter yet to come. “We can confidently say that the visa crises in South Africa is over. Student bookings look very positive and we
have made crucial headway with our government accreditation” stated Mr Johannes Kraus, re-elected Chairperson of EduSA. Kraus further stressed that "EduSA will continue its joint marketing efforts in 2018 by promoting South Africa as a unique and diverse EFL destination". The newly elected Exco looks
forward to welcoming the first ICEF Africa workshop to Cape Town in May 2018. “Having such an important marketing event in South Africa is a major step for the EFL industry and clearly shows its growing global recognition” states Kraus.
