Recently, a group of students attended the annual Ojai Studio Artists 2022 Tour. Students were able to visit the homes and studios of working artists in Ojai. They experienced the artmaking process and saw finished works from sculptors, ceramicists, painters, printmakers, and more! Some artists we visited were Sylvia Raz, Richard Flores, Mary Neville, Richard Amend, Susan Amend, and Wyatt Amend. It was fascinating to see the array of art that these artists have devoted years to exploring, and students were able to converse with many of them to pick their brains. We hope our young artists take inspiration from the vast imaginations and skills our local artists offer.
