Cork Airport have launched yet another new route, adding to the airport’s growing portfolio of destinations. This June, SWISS will be operating a Zurich-Cork route.

SWISS, a wonderful airline and part of the Lufthansa Group, will be a great addition to Cork and the flight will operate twice-weekly. Vicky Power, Marketing Director at ACET says of the new flight:  ‘It is such amazing news for Cork and our school. We feel this route will be an excellent choice for our clients.’ Vicky also goes on to point out that as an airline, SWISS are extremely professional, superb to work with, welcome unaccompanied minors and have excellent group booking conditions: ‘Such things are so important to our clients. It is especially enticing for our partners that work in the junior market and with school/university groups. Unaccompanied minor and flexible group booking policies are vital to our industry. Cork is such a wonderful city for students of all ages with a safe and welcoming environment. With the possibility of young Swiss clients being able to fly directly to Cork, both as individuals and groups, it only adds to the appeal of this southern Irish city.

It is also important to point out that Cork Airport is a calm environment for clients to arrive to and leave from. It is close to Cork city centre, ACET’s schools as well as their homestay and residential accommodation. Vicky says: ‘ It means that clients get more quality time in Cork and spend less time travelling.

ACET, already showing strong growth for the remainder of 2017 and into 2018, is extremely positive about this new route. This flight will also have good connectivity to such places are Sao Paola, Hong Kong and Beijing. Clients coming from these three destinations can book a through flight to Cork. This adds to other hubs like Amsterdam, London Heathrow and Paris, which are all popular ways for ACET clients to arrive to Cork.

Vicky says of Cork Airport: 'Cork is such a lovely Airport to fly to and from. It has a warm, friendly and professional team. It is calm and easy to get through with good shopping and inviting eateries. It makes flying a truly pleasurable experience.. Arriving into such a lovely airport provides the perfect start to what promises to always be a wonderful stay with ACET Cork.’
