Traditionally, in June, the Serbian national association of language schools – YALS, holds its AGM. This year, the AGM took plac in the beautiful garden of one of the member schools, Big Bird, in Belgrade. The meeting provided a platform for members to gather and discuss key matters.
The agenda encompassed various crucial topics including the preparation for the next YALS 2024 literary and multimedia competition, the participation in available projects and the YALS Conference for 2024. Members actively engaged in deliberations regarding all the items on the agenda expressing their perspectives, giving suggestions and offering support to the managing board.
The AGM resulted in several noteworthy decisions, such as the summer promotion of our next Conference marking the 25th anniversary of our association which will be held on 14th October in Belgrade and the willingness of members to apply for more projects, especially Erasmus+.
All attendees expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming school year, eagerly anticipating the implementation of the proposed plans.
