Last week, QE hosted a Mission at the Intercontinental Hotel, Istanbul, which brought together 13 QE/QED schools with 24 Turkish agents.
The event, which was sponsored by CELT Cardiff, began with a detailed and informative presentation from Eren Göker, President of UED (a Turkish agent association) before the meetings commenced. In all, QE schools had 13 meetings over the course of the day and enjoyed fantastic local cuisine over the lunch break.
After lunch QE gave a presentation to all agents about the benefits of working with Quality English schools before CELT Cardiff took to the stage to introduce the agents to their school and the attractions of Cardiff as a top destination for study travel.
The Mission, which has received extremely positive feedback from all participants, ended with a drinks reception on the top floor of the Intercontinental, allowing schools and agents to relax whilst enjoying panoramic views of beautiful Istanbul.
QE is now preparing for its forthcoming Missions to Barcelona (22nd November) and Milan (24th November).
