In today’s lunchtime live broadcast, Craig Riggs, Director of ICEF Monitor, offered an early look at what’s in store for the upcoming ICEF Monitor Global Summit, taking place in London on 12th September 2025. With just a few months to go, Craig shared what makes this event stand out and why it’s becoming a key date on the international education calendar.

While London is home to numerous international education events, the ICEF Monitor Global Summit distinguishes itself by focusing exclusively on strategy, data, and insight. Craig explained that the event is not intended to be a recruitment fair, but rather a high-level, content-driven forum for senior professionals.
He noted that the inaugural event in 2024 revealed a strong appetite across the sector for strategic discussion and high-quality intelligence. Attendees last year had responded positively to a format that prioritised thought leadership and practical value — something the 2025 edition will expand upon.
This year’s programme includes a range of keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and case studies. Craig emphasised that the sessions have been designed to deliver both insight and actionable outcomes, helping leaders stay ahead of fast-moving trends and developments.
He added that the variety of session formats would allow delegates to engage in ways that suit their own learning styles — whether they are seeking data-driven analysis, sector-wide perspectives, or targeted, practical advice.
The speaker line-up, still to be fully announced, will include senior figures from across the global international education landscape — from institutional leaders and market analysts to policy influencers and innovators.
Craig indicated that ICEF is committed to bringing forward speakers who can offer not just expertise, but also diverse perspectives on the future of the sector. The goal, he said, is to provide fresh ideas and global insight that reflect the complexity and dynamism of international education today.
The Summit is designed to create space for reflection, connection, and strategic planning. Craig explained that, in a sector that moves at pace, the event offers an opportunity to step back, assess broader trends, and prepare for what lies ahead.
Rather than simply focusing on where the sector currently stands, the Summit aims to help organisations get ready for what’s next — equipping leaders with the tools, insight, and partnerships needed to respond effectively.
Tickets are currently available at an exceptional early rate of just £445, valid until 30th June 2025. This includes full access to all sessions, refreshments, lunch, and admission to the ICEF Higher Education evening reception — a relaxed and valuable networking opportunity.
