How-to-Tuesday: The Top Digital Marketing Trends of 2023 (Part 1)

  Publisher : Bernice   25 April 2023 12:00

This How-to Tuesday we’re looking at the top digital marketing trends of 2023 to help boost your business and stay ahead of the competition in the international education sector. So, here’s Part 1 of what’s trending this year and how you can include it in your marketing strategy.

Multi-channel social media marketing

It wasn’t too long ago that the only social media platform everyone was on was Facebook. But this is certainly not the case in 2023. Although Facebook is still great for marketing your business, it’s only one of the many social media platforms you should be using. TikTok has gained a lot of popularity in recent years, with Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter also having a strong following. To reach a wider audience in 2023, it’s important to promote your services on more than one channel and make sure your socials are regularly updated.

Short-form video content

It’s a fact that audience attention spans are getting shorter. To cater for this, there has been a rise in short-form video content on social media platforms, like Instagram and Facebook reels and YouTube shorts. This doesn’t mean you can never use long-form video content, but keeping this trend in mind when creating your digital marketing content strategy will ensure your business is moving with the times.

Social listening

Use your various social media platforms to find out what clients are saying about your school or the international education industry as a whole, and really listen to what problems they have. Track where your business is mentioned and respond to feedback and queries in a timely fashion. This personalised approach is trending in 2023 and is a great chance to become more connected with both current and potential clients.
