British Homes and Schools for Ukrainians (BHSU) looking for places on summer school programme for Ukrainian children

  Publisher : Bernice   28 February 2024 13:06

It's been 2 years since Russian troops invaded Ukraine. While the headlines have faded, the war is far from over and help is still very much needed. In the last month, Ukraine has been hit by the biggest air attacks since this tragedy started and bombings are now part of daily life for people across the country.

Last year, BHSU and their partner schools provided 65 Ukrainian children with the opportunity to take part in Summer Schools. A spot in a residential programme offers a life-changing experience for Ukrainian children letting them make friends, learn, and build fresh hopes for the future.

We want to make this year’s campaign even bigger and help more young Ukrainians. If you can offer free or discounted places to Ukrainian children, please get in touch at [email protected].

You can read all about the huge success of the 2023 campaign here. A big thanks to Kate Hargreaves, the founder of QE school Living Learning English who is also the co-founder of BHSU!
