It has been announced that the 31st Eaquals Annual International Conference will be held in Venice this April. Eaquals will welcome Ania Kolbuszewska, Professor Steve Walsh, Gisella Lange and Dr Waldemar Martyniuk, who will deliver the conference plenary sessions on the subjects of Evidence-based reflection and teacher development, the role of plurilingualism in language teaching, CLIL, and training in the use of the Eaquals Academic Management Competences Framework.

The conference is being staged at the NH Venezia Laguna Palace Hotel, Mestre, Venice from 28-30 April. It will bring to Venice over 200 delegates, from 30 different countries, who represent language schools, publishers, exam boards, national quality associations and other cultural bodies. In Italy, there are eight Eaquals accredited member schools and two Eaquals associate members, AISLi and ASILS.

The conference provides practical training and development, together with a networking opportunity for education professionals with a shared commitment to quality.

The diversity within the conference strands provides a unique opportunity to cater for all professional involved in the international language teacher sector. This is reflected in the attendees that we welcome on an annual basis – academic teams, management teams, sales & marketing teams, owners & directors. The level of knowledge, expertise and shared best practice is something not to be missed.

The Executive Director of Eaquals, Lou McLaughlin, said:

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming both members and non-members to our conference and look forward to sharing perspectives on current key issues.”
