S&A Bulletin: How to Maximise Your School’s Content Generation During Peak Seasons

  Publisher : Stephanie Clark   14 April 2025 07:00

Hi everyone, and welcome back to another Schools & Agents Bulletin. In our most recent video, Bernice gave some timely advice for generating content, particularly for those schools currently hosting Easter camps or preparing for upcoming summer programmes. Here are some practical solutions to help you sustain your promotional efforts through quieter periods.

Make the most of your full campus

With schools bustling during peak seasons, this presents an ideal opportunity to capture authentic content. Take photos throughout classrooms, activities, and excursions to document student life. Creating a visual record of your school at its most vibrant will give you content to use later in the year.

Involve students in content creation

Today’s students excel at creating engaging content. Get them involved by:

  • Organising competitions where students showcase ‘life in our town’.
  • Creating treasure hunts that require participants to take photos around campus.
  • Encouraging group leaders to document excursions and activities.

This approach generates content without burdening busy staff, while producing authentic material from the student perspective.

Collect testimonials and experiences

Gather student testimonials during busy times as social proof for prospective students and parents. Record feedback from group leaders and invite students to share experiences on camera. For shy students, facilitate pair discussions. Don’t forget to get signed consent forms from students who are 18+, and for younger students, obtain guardian permission before using their images.

It’s so important to build a content library like this during busy periods. This helps you avoid the common pitfall of having to recycle the same images on social media repeatedly, making your school appear dated or inactive. First-time visitors form quick impressions based on content freshness, so implementing these strategies will help maintain a vibrant online presence year-round.
