Schools & Agents Bulletin: Plan Ahead for Your Content Strategy by Maximising on Summer Success

  Publisher : Stephanie Clark   12 August 2024 08:30

Hi everyone! Welcome to another edition of our S&A Bulletin highlights. The summer season is now in full swing and we’re so happy to hear you’re all having a successful peak season! In last week’s video we stressed that, despite how busy your schools are at the moment, collecting content during peak season will come in handy for your future marketing strategy. Here’s how and why you should be capturing content right now.

Seize the moment to capture summer content

From vibrant social activities to engaged classroom sessions, summertime provides diverse material that can be used later on during the quieter months. By collecting plenty of student photos, videos, and testimonials now, you’re building a rich content bank for future use. With students on-site, it’s also the perfect time to collect testimonials. Don’t let this opportunity slip away as summer draws to a close!

Consistency: The key to effective content marketing

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – in content marketing, it’s all about consistency. By investing some time in capturing lots of summer content now, you’ll be able to keep your social media channels and promotional materials fresh and appealing all year round.

Balancing your content portfolio

When capturing content, aim for a well-rounded mix, including:

  • Happy students in classrooms and during social activities
  • Campus and common area snapshots
  • Student accommodation visuals
  • A variety of photos and videos showcasing different aspects of student life

This diverse content will be invaluable later in the year, especially when you send Schools & Agents promotional articles or social media content to post on your behalf.

While the summer rush may make additional tasks seem daunting, investing time in content creation now will pay dividends throughout the year. By planning ahead and building a varied content library, you’ll ensure your marketing efforts remain consistent and impactful, regardless of the season. That’s all for today, but stay tuned for more tips and updates next week!
