Wimbledon School of English (WSE) is delighted to announce a new strategic collaboration with NILE (the Norwich Institute for Language Education), following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The agreement formalises a close working relationship between two highly respected institutions and sets out plans for collaboration on joint projects, promotions, and programmes. It reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and leadership within the global English Language Teaching (ELT) sector.
Both organisations have long played influential roles in English language education. By working together more closely, WSE and the Norwich Institute for Language Education aim to create new opportunities that benefit teachers, institutions, and the wider ELT community. Further details about specific initiatives will be announced in the coming months.
Founded in 1995, NILE (Norwich Institute for Language Education) is one of the world’s leading providers of training and professional development for English language teachers. Over the past three decades, NILE has supported more than 90,000 teachers in over 100 countries, delivering programmes both face-to-face and online in the UK and internationally.
Widely respected for its academic rigour and practical, classroom-focused approach, NILE works across all areas of ELT, from primary to tertiary education, private language schools, and government ministries. Its global reach, long-standing accreditations, and professional memberships give it significant gravitas within the ELT industry.
This collaboration brings together NILE’s internationally recognised expertise in teacher education with the long-established excellence of Wimbledon School of English. Together, the two institutions look forward to contributing positively to the future of English language teaching and professional development worldwide.
Further announcements will follow as plans develop.
