Trine University now accepting applications for the Master of Education in Montessori Education. Current offerings are for Early Childhood (ages 3-6) and Elementary I (ages 6-9). Programs are taught through the highly regarded Center for Montessori Education at Trine University. Beginning each June, the academic model is cohort style and lasts one year. Students gain tremendous experience through the nine-month clinical student teaching practicum. Practicum may be done in the USA or in the home country following the campus-based summer session.
Highlights of the program include:
- Highly specialized credentials and qualifications to teach in a public or private Montessori setting
- Guaranteed paid practicum and eligibility for one year of post-completion OPT (work authorization in the USA)
- Two tracks: Master’s degree and credentials or professional credentials only
