The summer of 2024 was a remarkable season for Oxford International Study Centre (OISC), with over 1,200 students from more than 30 nationalities gathering in Oxford for an enriching and memorable experience. As we prepare for an even bigger and better summer in 2025, we invite students from all over the world to join us in exploring one of the most iconic university cities globally.

From mid-June to early September, our summer programmes transform the city of Oxford into a vibrant learning hub. The University’s storied colleges, world-class galleries, and historic landmarks provide an inspiring setting. Whether walking through the cobblestone streets or studying in a classroom near Christ Church—home to the University’s Cathedral—students are immersed in an academic atmosphere unlike any other.

For nearly two decades, OISC has been at the heart of these transformative experiences, welcoming more than 22,000 students over the years. We offer something for everyone, catering to students as young as 12 and adult learners, including teachers seeking professional development.

Flexible and Enriching Programmes

Our summer courses are uniquely flexible, allowing students to begin on any Monday and choose a duration that suits their schedule—from one week to the full eight or more. Beyond summer, year-round programmes are available in English Language and academic subjects, ensuring continuity for those eager to extend their studies.

Fixed Summer Courses

We offer two well-structured and popular courses:

1. English Language and Culture

   • 20 lessons (15 hours) per week in English Language
   • Daily social activities in Oxford
   • Full-day weekend excursions

2. English Language, Culture and Academic Enrichment

   • 20 lessons (15 hours) of English Language tuition weekly
   • 10 additional lessons (7.5 hours) of academic preparation tailored to A-Level, IB, or (I)GCSE students
   • Flexible subject options taught in small groups or one-to-one
   • Daily social activities and weekend excursions
