Sharena Fabrika International School for Gastronomy and Heritage Crafts is launching summer camps for children and teenagers in the heart of the Balkan Mountains. The camps offer an immersive experience combining hands-on learning, outdoor adventure and cultural discovery.
Each week centres on a different theme – cooking, art or nature - with three age groups and tailored programmes for each. All camps run entirely in English, giving children the chance to practise the language, while building new skills.
Hosted at the luxury Casa Art Hotel, everything is included in the package - full accommodation, meals, activities, excursions, insurance and transfers from Sofia airport.
It all starts with a week of cooking, baking and outdoor adventures. YOUNG CHEFS’ WEEK (12 - 19 July) features informal hands-on activities with professional chef instructors, exploring: Bulgarian and international cuisine, essential cooking techniques and kitchen skills, baking, plating, and presentation.
Next is YOUNG ARTISTS’ WEEK (19-26 July), giving children the opportunity to learn from experienced craftsmen in the fields of ceramics and pottery, woodworking and carving, textiles, painting, and natural materials.
The final week is dedicated to gardening, outdoor adventures, and sports activities. YOUNG EXPLORERS’ WEEK (26 July-2 August, 2026) offers hands-on classes in permaculture and sustainable living, gardening, ecology, biodiversity, outdoor skills and teamwork.
