At SUFC International Football Academy, every day is designed to shape the next generation of elite players on and off the pitch. A typical day blends professional training, education and personal development in a professional, supportive environment.
The day begins with an early breakfast in the student-athlete’s residence, fuelling players for a physically demanding schedule. Morning training sessions follow, led by SUFC’s very own UEFA-licensed coaches who focus on technical skills, tactical awareness and physical conditioning. From passing drills to match simulations, every session is intense, purposeful and tailored to individual progress.
After training, players attend academic or language classes, ensuring their education stays on track. The academy supports a well-rounded development model, where football excellence complements academic growth. Students from around the globe learn together, gaining both cultural exposure and international friendships.
Afternoons often include recovery sessions, tactical video analysis, or gym work. Student-athletes also receive regular feedback to monitor progress and set clear goals. On certain days, internal matches or competitive fixtures provide opportunities to apply their learning in a real-game environment.
Evenings provide downtime having time to rest, study, socialise or focus on personal interests. The weekly schedule may also include additional training sessions and opportunities to attend SUFC’s league matches as spectators, moments that inspire confidence, resilience and a better understanding of the game.
SUFC International Football Academy student-athletes experience what it takes to reach the next level. It’s not just about talent, it’s about discipline, focus and embracing the journey.
