'Where traditions become the future' is not just the motto of Sharena Fabrika Culinary School. It is the philosophy behind every aspect of this inspiring project.

The nearly 100-year-old school building is a great example. It is located in Golyama Zhelyazna village, nestled in the monumental Balkan Mountains, and dates back to 1932.

A team of ambitious entrepreneurs fell in love at first sight with the abandoned school building and decided to give it a new life. For them, it was crucial to preserve its purpose as an educational institution. This is how the concept for Sharena Fabrika Campus for Culinary Arts and Crafts was born.

A team of talented architects from VA Studio took on the challenge of transforming the old building into a modern culinary school while carefully preserving its authentic character and spirit.

A completely new residential building was built next to the school, and another building in the village was fully renovated to host the international team of instructors and the school's staff. The building for the crafts school is also in progress. All of them pay homage to local traditions and the community.

'Old-school' from the outside, all buildings at the campus are thoroughly modern inside. Students of the culinary school will learn and practice their craft in brand-new, well-equipped professional kitchens. The residential house offers cozy individual rooms with private bathrooms in the middle of nature – at a surprisingly affordable price.

Sharena Fabrika Culinary School is an official partner of FERRANDI Paris, with certified chef instructors and programs developed in collaboration with the legendary French culinary academy.
