The School of Business & Management (SBM) Malta has concluded a highly successful visit to Egypt, following its participation in the 17th EDUGATE University Fair in Cairo, as well as an engaging follow-up event in Alexandria. The trip reinforced SBM Malta’s commitment to building strong international recruitment partnerships and creating clear pathways for Egyptian students seeking quality European education.

High Impact at EDUGATE
From the very first day in Cairo, SBM Malta’s presence at EDUGATE drew strong interest from prospective students. The team showcased the institution’s diverse portfolio of programmes, flexible entry routes, and international study pathways, with Malta positioned as a welcoming, English-speaking gateway to Europe.

Agents will be pleased to note the high calibre of student engagement — conversations were marked by ambition, curiosity, and a strong appetite for global opportunities. The SBM Malta stand quickly became one of the most vibrant spots at the fair, creating a dynamic hub for students, parents, and educators to connect.

From Cairo to Alexandria
Following three inspiring days in Cairo, SBM Malta travelled to Alexandria to connect with students in Egypt’s second-largest city. The reception was equally positive, with attendees demonstrating a readiness to explore study options abroad and a clear interest in Malta as a safe, culturally rich, and academically strong destination.

Strengthening Agent Partnerships
The visit underscored the importance of collaboration in Egypt and the wider MENA region. SBM Malta’s programmes — particularly those with embedded international pathways — are proving to be highly attractive for students seeking affordable, high-quality education with progression routes into Europe and beyond.

Looking Ahead
SBM Malta extends its thanks to all partners, agents, and educators who contributed to the success of this mission, and to EDUGATE Egypt for providing such a powerful platform for international education. The institution looks forward to deepening collaborations in the region, ensuring agents have the tools and information needed to guide ambitious Egyptian students towards a transformative study experience in Malta.
