Language Hosts was founded in 2023 and run by qualified TEFL Teacher and Program Director Caroline Leonard.  We are a new and enthusiastic hosting organisation currently work with public, semi-private and private boarding schools in our area.

Language Hosts is based in the south of Ireland home to Irish Hurling,  Horse racing and the famous Rock of Cashel.  Cashel and Thurles are two of the most populated towns in Tipperary and have direct links to Cork, Limerick and Dublin cities. Dublin is less than 60 minutes by direct train whilst Cork is 45 minutes.   Thurles is a university town with two of Ireland’s top secondary schools in Tipperary. Thurles is also home to two of Ireland’s most prestigious boarding schools ranking 25 out of 500 Irish secondary schools.   Both towns have excellent facilities including a shopping center, theatre, leisure center, cafes, bars and golf courses.

Return Train to Dublin for under 20 euro

Cashel and Thurles are well connected with a direct train to Dublin Cork and Limerick in less than an hour. Student rail tickets are approx. €20 return to Thurles. Check out Irish Rail here.
