At Kings Hall College, we think that providing a warm and comfortable home for our students is just as important as the high-quality education that we provide in the form of our lessons, academic workshops, and social activities. We are proud to offer a variety of accommodation options to both new and existing students, as we hope to ensure that our students feel welcome, safe, and comfortable for the duration of their stay in Manchester.

At Kings Hall College, we offer two types of accommodation: homestay accommodation (where students reside with a British host) or student residence (where students live in a shared dorm).

Homestay

Our homestay hosts are all located in Greater Manchester (most notably in the towns and suburbs surrounding the city centre) approximately 15-45 minutes from the college. Students can easily journey to our college from their homestay home via bus, train, and tram (all our homestay hosts live on routes that are easily accessible via one of these modes of transportation). Our homestay hosts (and their homes) are visited by our Accommodation Officer to ensure that both the homestay host and their accommodation meet our standards.

Homestay (Self-Catering)

Perfect for students who want to live with a British host but who want to provide their own food and cook their own meals.

Perfect for students who want to fully immerse themselves in British culture by residing with a British host.

Homestay (Twin Room)

Perfect for students who are travelling to Manchester with a sibling, parent, child, or partner.

Homestay (En-Suite)

Perfect for students who would prefer extra privacy by having their own personal bathroom.

Student Accommodation

Perfect for students who want to the share a living space with other students.

Our student accommodation is located very close to Kings Hall College (only an 11-minute walk away).

✨ A private bathroom with a wash basin, a toilet, and a shower

✨ A shared kitchen and living area with a TV (shared between 5 -11 flatmates)

✨ Bed linen and kitchen utensils included (please bring your own towels)

✨ Weekly cleaning of the kitchen and common areas

✨ Self-catered (you are responsible for your own meals)

✨ Laundry facilities are available on-site (approximately £5.00 per wash/dry)
