Our Junior English courses in Bristol provide a complete learning experience with a curriculum specially designed for younger students. Classes are held at our Oakfield Road campus in the scenic Clifton area, a perfect learning location. - Class Times: Lessons run from Monday to Friday, 9:15 am to 12:35 pm, totaling 15 hours per week.
- Class Content: The curriculum includes grammar, vocabulary, skills development (reading, speaking, listening, and writing), and interactive activities like “Phrase of the Day” to enrich daily communication.
- Project 100: Students are encouraged to master 100 new words or phrases each week, building confidence and fluency.
- Social and Creative Activities: Afternoon activities from 1:30 pm to around 4:00 pm Monday through Friday include Creative Classes, and three evenings per week are filled with engaging evening events.
- Saturday Excursions: Each Saturday, students embark on a full-day trip to popular destinations such as London, Cardiff, or Oxford, offering both sightseeing and cultural experiences.

- Afternoon Excursions: Visits to local attractions and historical sites help students connect with the culture while practicing their English.

Special Information for 13-Year-Olds
Thirteen-year-olds are welcome to join the programme under certain conditions to ensure their safety and comfort. They can participate if:
- They are accompanied by a group leader and staying in a homestay.
- They are staying with an older sibling (14+) or are related to a former IH Bristol student.
- They are in privately arranged accommodation, which is ideal if staying with family or close relatives.
