Hispania, escuela de español consolidates its commitment to Spanish Teacher Training, innovation and success in Spanish Language Teaching.
Last March Hispania, escuela de español took part in the 20th International Forum for Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and Spanish as a Second Language (EL2), organised by the University of Valencia and Editorial Difusión in Valencia, the city where our beloved school is also located.
This important event in the world of Spanish celebrated its 20th anniversary this year and brought together educators, researchers and professionals in the field of Spanish language teaching from all over the world.
Part of the teaching team of Hispania, escuela de español took part in the meeting with the presentation of 6 papers on didactic proposals for the classroom, the activation and dynamisation of classes through games and conversation and the presentation of key psycho-affective strategies of the Hispania Method.
Among the 30 papers presented at the Forum, Sara Palazón and Ana Roldán's ‘Serving memes. Una propuesta didáctica para familiarizar con el vocabulario coloquial a través del móvil’ won first prize and “El cóctel de la felicidad en el aula (y no, no lleva alcohol): Estrategias psicoafectivas prácticas que ponen el foco en el estudiante” by teachers and trainers Alicia Ramos and María Palanca came in second place.
This underlines the quality and commitment of Hispania, escuela de español to ELE teacher training, which we have been carrying out for more than 20 years in our ELE Teacher Training Courses, taught by a team of professionals with extensive experience in Spanish language teaching and teacher training and which will open its next edition this July.
These courses are based on the Hispania Method, with innovative and practical methodologies that encourage active and dynamic learning. They are also a perfect space, like the forum, to establish professional connections.
The XX Foro Internacional de Profesores de ELE/EL2 was a resounding success, promoting the exchange of knowledge and innovation in the teaching of Spanish, and consolidating the community of educators committed to excellence in teacher training.
Excellence in the training of professional teachers in the ELE sector is very important in the philosophy of our school Hispania, escuela de español and for this reason, we are very happy to have participated in such a relevant event in the ELE world. We are already looking forward to the next edition of this wonderful meeting.
