GBS Malta: A Culture Built on Community, Care, and Social Responsibility

  Publisher : Bernice   02 December 2025 07:17

GBS Malta has built a reputation not only as an educational institution dedicated to student success but also as an organisation deeply rooted in community values. The company’s commitment to helping those in need is more than a corporate initiative—it is a principle embodied by its leadership and reflected throughout its team.

The ethos of compassion and respect that guides GBS Malta can be traced back to values instilled in its leaders from a young age. These formative experiences have shaped an organisational culture where supporting others is seen as both a responsibility and a privilege. This sense of purpose influences the company’s daily operations and long-term vision, emphasising the importance of empathy, service, and community engagement.

At a corporate level, GBS Malta actively puts these values into practice. Each year, the organisation participates in eight to ten community initiatives, contributing time, resources, and volunteer efforts to causes across the Maltese Islands. Their involvement spans a broad range of activities, from environmental clean-ups to partnerships with prominent foundations and NGOs including Puttinu Cares, the Community Chest Fund, Żibel NGO, and several animal welfare organisations supporting abandoned animals.

One of the company’s most recent initiatives included taking part in the President’s Walk, an 8-kilometre charity event from San Anton Gardens to Valletta. The occasion served as both a team-building experience and a meaningful opportunity to contribute to national efforts supporting society’s most vulnerable groups. For GBS Malta, such events are more than symbolic—they are a direct expression of the organisation’s belief in collective responsibility and social impact.

At the heart of GBS Malta’s mission lies a simple yet powerful motivation: caring for its students and helping its communities. This commitment continues to drive the organisation forward, shaping not only its educational approach but also its role within Maltese society.
