Seven FBLA College of the Canyons students placed in the top 10 nationally – including one national champion – during the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate National Leadership Conference in Atlanta June 22 to 25. The students were among more than 850 nationwide students who showcased their talents and competed for more than $120,000 in scholarships. The winners are:

• Sophia Mekhael – First Place, Marketing Analysis and Decision Making
• Sophia Mekhael, Angela Ramirez & Kaleb Stoneman – Second Place, Business Decision Making
• Rose Brown – Sixth Place, Business Decision Making
• Brandon Perez & Kaleb Stoneman – Sixth Place, Management Analysis and Decision Making
• Joshua Norfleet & Justin Zundel – Seventh Place, Hospitality Management
• Brandon Perez – Tenth Place, Marketing Analysis and Decision Making

Students also competed in the Business Presentation category; the Sales Presentation category; the Impromptu Speaking event; the Public Speaking event, and Social Media Marketing category.
