As Christmas break approaches, we are feeling the holiday spirit on Merrick Prep’s campus.
For this month’s House Cup challenge, our three Houses – Barnard, Clarke, and Rickers – were asked to put their gingerbread house decorating skills to the test. And what can we say? We are not just a school; we are a Gingerbread House dynasty!
From traditional to modern masterpieces, and everything in between - we had a wide variety of gingerbread buildings on display. It was so hard to choose a winner for this House Cup competition, but in the end, Rickers House won with their impeccable attention to detail and artistry. Not to mention their clever incorporation of the classic horror movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street" into both, their design and story.
