It’s spring, things are finally going back to normal and borders are opening up again: May is the best time to come to Italy and to dive straight into Italian culture with a language course! Especially since Scuola Leonardo da Vinci has organized two special courses: “Dolce Vita” and “A week with Leonardo da Vinci”!
Our “Dolce Vita” course is perfect for mature students who wish to combine the fun challenge of a language course with a deep plunge into Italian culture. In the morning, students can attend our engaging Italian classes together with students from all over the world of the same level. The rest of the day is dedicated to cultural activities organized by the school: walking tours, guided visits at museums, opera concerts, day trips and more. Our guide Valentina and the school will take care of anything and everything: students can sit back and enjoy their holiday!
The course can last one week (May 16th – May 20th) or two weeks (May 16th – May 27th). Find more information about the course and the tuition fees here.
However, the real news this year is our “A week with Leonardo” course, taking place from May 30th to June 3rd!
The course will unveil the secrets of one of the greatest artists and scholars and explain his connection with the city of Milan. The morning classes will be focused on the Italian language as well as da Vinci’s life, works and role in the Italian Renaissance. The afternoon and the whole of Thursday are going to be dedicated to discovering Leonardian sites like the Last Supper, Castello Sforzesco, and da Vinci’s vineyard.
Finally, typical Milanese experiences such as an aperitif at sunset and a boat trip on the Navigli canals cannot be missed!
