fRilingue's Spring Camps in Switzerland!

Published on Tuesday, February 6, 2018

After kicking off 2018 with a successful Ski & Language Camp season, the January blues certainly weren’t a problem for us here at fRilingue, and moving into February we’re already turning our attention to our Spring Language Camps in the Swiss Alps.

Taking place between 1st April and 5th May, our Spring camps offer kids & teens aged from 6 - 17 the chance to learn French, German or English one of two breathtaking Alpine locations; Leysin (Vaud) and St. Bernard (Valais).

In both camps, our language classes take place in small groups with a maximum of 6 students with young, dynamic and experienced teachers. Outside of the classroom, students can enjoy a full social programme that includes excursions to the surrounding cities, landmarks and attractions as well as hikes through the mountains and a range of evening activities.

Leysin, Canton Vaud - French & English Camp

Dates: 8th April until 5th May 2018

Age range: 6 - 17 years

Leysin is known for its international schools and its cosmopolitan atmosphere. Aside from its native language of French, English is also often-heard in Leysin, due to its large British and American expat community. There is also a well-known Hotel School with students from all over the world, as well as an American High School.

Our camp takes place in our beautiful 3 Star Alpine Hotel, which boasts pristine views of the French and Swiss Alps, including the famous Dents du Midi Mountain.

St. Bernard, Canton Valais - French, English & German

Dates: 1st April - 5th May

Age range: 10 - 17 years

Vichères-Liddes, St. Bernard is about 55 minutes from Montreux and only 20 minutes from Martigny, the Great St. Bernard Pass and the Aosta Valley in Italy. With its mountain and ski world, varied hiking trails and nature reserves, Vichères-Liddes is a small paradise for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts - and now also for language breaks!

This camp is housed in our very own property: the spacious chalet "Relais de Dranse", renovated in 2014, has a range of bedrooms that sleep between 4 and 8 persons in comfortable bunk beds. There’s also a large dining room, plenty of recreational space and a huge garden. Sprawling countryside and no passing traffic make it an absolutely perfect to relax in comfort and warmth after a day’s hiking.

Groups: as always, we’re happy to make tailor made group offers for any groups you may have.
