ACCORD International Summer School operate 3 summer English language camps in England with two of those now in the north of England; Rossall school in Lancashire and Barnard Castle school in Durham.

Rossall school was added to ACCORD’s summer camps in 2016 because of it’s ‘fantastic facilities and excellent location’ says ACCORD ISS Director Alex Harrap.

Rossall School is a traditional English boarding school with 160 acres of land, situated on the seaside near the coastal town Blackpool. Rossall school also has its, own private beach which students use during afternoon and evening activities. As part of the Residential Programme students attend trips to various cities and areas of the North of England, including to the lake district, Chester and York. They also offer trips to Manchester, the home of football in England, where students will experience the famous football museum and visit Liverpool, a booming city and the home of the famous band The Beatles, with their museum being located on the beautiful Albert Dock.

After the success of Rossall school, Barnard Castle was quickly added as another summer camp destination for ACCORD ISS students. Located in County Durham in the North East of England, Barnard Castle is a traditional English boarding school renowned for its sporting prowess, where students will be able to study English whilst taking advantage of incredible sporting facilities. These facilities pair perfectly with ACCORD’s exclusive UK partnership with The Paris Saint-Germain Academy, which takes place at the school during the summer for both English and international children.

The school also sits very close to the Lake District, a beautiful area of England with wondrous views of nature and steeped in English history which students can take advantage of during full day excursions. Other trips include visits to cities like Newcastle, Leeds and Durham.
