Equinox Education Services - looking to forge new Partnerships in 2019

Equinox Education Services’ Managing Director Noel Doyle, outlines his organisation’s plans for the coming year and reflects on his their successes during 2018.

"Having worked in international education for over twenty years, I’ve naturally clocked up a lot of air miles exploring new markets, developing new partnerships and implementing new Educational programmes. Travel is all part of the cut and thrust of our business development strategy and I love the opportunity of seeing how educational systems work in other territories, learning from them and then adapting the best parts to apply within some of our own programmes in Ireland.

This time of year and into 2019 is no exception as myself and my team will take trips overseas to meet new and existing clients throughout Europe and Asia.

In my career I must have visited over 500 schools worldwide sharing ideas and leaning new educational methods. At this stage I know what works and what doesn’t and my abiding philosophy is that if you are going to design a bespoke programme or work with academic institutes, you better continuously strive to improve at every turn and exceed expectations at all costs if you want to grow as a business. It’s an ideology that we apply everyday in Equinox, whether we are dealing with a primary school student or a senior citizen, our aim is to simply be the best when providing expert, independent advice for all our academic or cultural programmes here and abroad. To paraphrase Aristotle “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”

This year alone Equinox were fortunate to have welcomed students from six different counties to Ireland, each with a different set of expectations governing what they want to achieve from their experience here. I pleased to say that in almost every case our team met and exceeded what each client was looking for through our flexible and collaborative approach to delivering each programme and importantly, by making their experience feel special.

Our tailor-made programmes in Ireland this year is a case in point. In 2018 we were able to successfully deliver no less than four bespoke high-school programmes from Japan into Ireland, which something that is not mirrored by any other Irish organisation in our industry.   In Europe and Asia we work with a limited, but reputable number of great agents on the ground who have been instrumental in helping us forge links with individuals, groups, schools and universities for us as they see the value proposition of what Ireland has to offer. This is not just in terms of our world-class academic system, but what we as a people can provide to enrich the cultural experiences of our students and guests. It goes without saying that I am very proud of some of the wide range of programmes that we have delivered over the years, and testament to this fact is that many of the groups return time and time again.

My personal goal is to continue to promote Ireland as a destination of choice for International students, whilst at the same time bringing new immersive, overseas study and cultural options for our Irish clients. Equinox’s journey is only really getting started and we hope we can work with many more partners along the way. So why not give us a call and find out what we can do for you today?"
