Surf and Network in Ireland with professionals from the International Education Industry

For 2019 The Network Plus are proud to introduce a new and exciting gathering - SURF & NETWORK, which will be held in Ireland from the 29th October until the 2nd November 2019. Participants will have the possibility to book for 3 or 5 days depending on their availability. But before we move on to details about this gathering, here's a short intro video from Neil Norton from Edex Ireland who is helping us with the organisation of this gathering.

What does it consist of?

- 2 or 4 nights accommodation on half board basis

- Breakfast and dinner included

- First day of surfing lessons (additional days of surfing lessons will be at an additional cost)

- Access to pool and gym

- Excursions (optional)

- Workshops and discussions included

- Constant networking opportunities with industry professionals

Where will the event be held?

Surf and Network 2019 will be held in Lahinch, which is a small town on Liscannor Bay, on the northwest coast of County Clare, Ireland. It is about a 3-hour drive from Dublin.  Directions by car or bus can be found here.

As far as accommodation goes participants will have two options. They could either stay at the Lahinch Coast hotel or at the West Coast Lodge which is an adjoining hostel and provides for a cheaper option. Breakfast and dinners will all be at the Lahinch Coast hotel for all the participants, be it whether they are staying at the hotel itself or at the hostel next door.

What does the programme include?

Throughout the 5 days of this event we will start the day with breakfast and surfing lessons. There will also be other options for those who are not too keen on water sports (such as massages). In the afternoon we will have industry workshops and discussions where will focus on topics such as the use of social media in international education. Participants will also have the opportunity to break off into smaller groups to discuss specific programmes or courses or partnerships wih one another. Finally, the day will end with dinner and a taste of traditional Irish culture!

How much does it cost?

Prices for this event start from 180 Euro, but a whole list of pricing and accommodation options can be found here.
