Zoni students celebrate teacher appreciation week

I think that we can all agree that teachers have a huge impact on our lives. Most American students spend approximately 16,380 hours in class by the time they graduate high school. That is a lot of time spent with their teachers. Teaching - although very rewarding – is hard work. It is because of this tremendous responsibility and dedication, that one week a year we take the opportunity to say “thank you” to our teachers.

Teacher Appreciation Week is held each year during the first full week of May across the United States. It has become such a big event that many restaurants offer teachers heavily discounted or even free meals, not to mention the many other special offers available to teachers during this time.

Teacher Appreciation Week is a big deal at Zoni Language Centers. We make sure that each and every one of our teachers knows that they are appreciated and that they are doing an amazing job. This year, on May 09, Zoni students wore their brightest clothes to school. The wearing of brightly colored clothes was to symbolize the ways in which teachers make our futures brighter! Students loved this idea and our campuses were a glowing rainbow of mostly neon colors.

Additionally, each Zoni campus held their own celebrations complete with tasty treats and small gifts for the teachers organized by the students.

More photos of the Zoni Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
