City Centre Residences for Students in Central London

In last week’s post we focused on one of Londonist’s new residences for the 2019 / 2020 academic year, and this week we would like to turn the spotlight onto another new residence. This time we will be talking about the Kentish Town Residence.

What can one expect to find here?

The new Kentish Town residence is located between Camden Town and Kentish Town, and it is a great location for students especially since both areas are full of life and things to do.

Camden Town has so much to offer with its colourful shops, amazing restaurants with different cuisines, as well as its food and vintage markets. There is also a canal close to the residence where students can have a relaxing walk after their classes. However, for those who love walking, the canal is not the only option. There are also two lovely parks which are situated a mere 15-minute walk away from the residence. These are Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park. Students can enjoy these large green spaces, go for a run or even have a picnic while enjoying a beautiful view of London.

Students who choose to stay at Kentish Town are also able to visit the Jewish Museum or enjoy a boat tour and water sports in the canal. On a hot day they can also go to Hampstead Heath Park and lay around the swimming ponds and enjoy a lovely break.

Transportation from this area

The Kentish Town Residence is also great because it is very close to some of the biggest University campuses. There are two tube stations situated less than 10 minutes on foot away from the residence, therefore, students will be able to get to their University very easily and efficiently.

Moreover, this Londonist student residence has a lot of spacious social areas, including a cinema and a disco, where students can make new friends and have some fun. There is also an on-site gym, which is free of charge, so there is no need for them to leave the building if they would like to work out. They literally have everything under the same roof!
