Intercultura Costa Rica Interview

Published EDU-WorldWide on Wednesday, August 1, 2018

Till is a 21-year-old from Switzerland. He came to Intercultura Costa Rica through the Swiss agency Boa Lingua and he studied Spanish at our Samara Beach Campus for 11 weeks. He chose our standard intensive group classes and added private lessons on top of that. We asked him the following questions (his answers right below):

Name: Till Moser

Why do you want to learn Spanish?

I always liked the language and was interested in learning it. Learning Spanish also means that I get to know a new culture because language is part of culture.

Why did you come to Costa Rica?

I heard great things about Costa Rica. I heard it is beautiful, safe and the people and their mentality is very relaxed and open.

Why did you choose Intercultura?

Because it is a school at the beach.

What did you like the most about the school and Sámara?

I really liked the location of the school and the people who work here. They were friendly and open. About Sámara I liked the most the sea and the beach.

Were you able to improve your Spanish with us?

I was! I started with almost nothing and now I am able to communicate. I am really thankful for having good teachers.

How do you think this experience will change or influence your life?

It helped me to be more open and it generated my interest for seeing more of the world.

Till enjoyed his Costa Rica experience to the fullest and has made two fantastic and breathtaking videos about it. You can view the videos by clicking on the links below:

Our group classes and private lessons are offered year-round at both of our school locations. Our small group classes consist of a maximum of 6 students per class and can be considered as our most popular program type. Students learn Spanish 4 hours a day, 20 hours a week, from Monday to Friday. Each week and each level ends with a little quiz. Our Spanish system follows the internationally recognized academic standards established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Although the CEFR framework divides Spanish into 6 levels at Intercultura CR we even divide further into 12 levels, from complete beginner to near native speaker. Our emphasis herby is on the conversational skills and a dynamic learning style. You can read more here:
