EdYOUfest - Exploring the joy of teaching

Published on Tuesday, April 17, 2018

EdYOUfest is a festival for ELT teachers, who come together each year to learn and grow, in a supportive atmosphere with fellow educators from over 20 countries across the globe.

At this event, the host organisation EdYOUfest together with this year's partners Millfield School, will welcome teachers of English as well as content or subject teachers who have connections with their language teaching colleagues. The aim is to dismantle barriers, encourage communication and to foster real collaboration between all involved in this branch of the teaching profession.

The organisation's first event was in Genoa. Since then they've held events in Palermo and Paris. As previously mentioned, this year the event will be based in the English town of Street, Somerset, very near to the ancient pilgrimage place of Glastonbury. There is an exciting line up of presenters, and, as ever, EdYOUfest is a workshop-based event.

Some of the presenters include Thom Jones, Tim Bowen, Ron Morrain and Rachel Paling...amongst others.

Participants need to have a minimum B2 English language level.
